A dream came true for Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler this weekend. During the band's set at the Bridge School Benefit Concert Saturday, Butler and the band debuted a new track called "I Dreamed a Neil Young Song" with a little help from Neil Young himself.
Butler explained that he had a dream about playing the song at a . He remembered all of it when he woke up, so he wrote it down and eventually realized he was writing a Neil Young song.
Meanwhile, Arcade Fire filled the rest of their set with hits and tracks from their upcoming album Reflektor, which is due out Tuesday. The Bridge School benefit also featured performances from My Morning Jacket, Queens of the Stone Age, and Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.
The charity event took place Saturday and Sunday at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
