JDRF One Walk will kick off it’s10thannual 5K in Huntsville, Alabama onSaturday, April 22, 2017 at HudsonAlpha and the Jackson Center, aiming to raise more than $125K to help fund critically needed type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The event, organized by JDRF/ North Alabama,is expected to attract more than 1000 supporters representing local businesses, families, schools, and other organizations. The event is one of more than 200 community JDRF One Walks nationwide that bring together hundreds of thousands of people each year who share JDRF’s vision to create a world without T1D.
JDRF encourages people of all ages driven to support a great cause to participate in JDRF One Walk and enjoy a free fun-filled morning withamazing kids activities, live music, give-a-ways, food and more! In addition, we will have all types of diabetic-related vendors on hand to answer questions as well as have the ability to do on-site testing.
