By now, I'm sure you've seen the Nike ad featuring Colin Kaepernick. And there's no doubt if you are on social media, you've seen the Nike meme pop up on your news feeds. Whether you agree with the topic of the commercial or not, it's caused reaction. It's caused people to talk. That is the art of advertising. Sometimes bad publicity is good publicity. There has been stories about people that disagree with the message of the ad, burning their Nike shoes in protest. The point is, all this attention has garnered returns for Nike. Their sales are up 31%. And my news feed on my facebook page sees no end in sight for all the goofy Nike meme's.
