Whitesnake Releases New Song "Shut Up & Kiss Me"

Whitesnake has made good on its Valentine's Day promise, releasing the lead single for the band's upcoming album, Flesh and Blood.

The music video for "Shut Up & Kiss Me" cleverly throws back to Whitesnake's past, featuring the same white Jaguar that model Tawny Kitaen danced on in the "Here I Go Again" video from 1987.

Front man David Coverdale and the band are depicted performing in an intimate club, and the crowd is loving it ... like, really loving it. You can check out the video above.

The song itself has all the hallmarks of Whitesnake's classic style. Coverdale says the band was deliberate about acknowledging the band's past.

Flesh & Blood is Whitesnake's 13th studio album and its first since 2015's The Purple Album.

The LP is slated for a May 10 release, more than a year after it was originally set to be put out. Whitesnake's record label said that "technical issues" the band encountered during mixing forced them to push the album, and corresponding world tour, back to this year.
