Warped Tour is officially returning in 2025! The iconic punk festival plans to throw two-day events in Washington, D.C., Long Beach, California, and Orlando, Florida next year.

Founder Kevin Lyman spoke to Rolling Stone about why he decided to re-launched Warped Tour six years after announcing its end. “Since 1997, I said I was hoping that there was some kid in a garage that was going to come out and kick Kevin Lyman’s a** someday, and put on a better festival," he explained. "People start remembering once something’s gone that it was important, it was fun — and I’m hoping to recapture a lot of that again.”

He also explained why the festival won't be traversing the whole country like it has in the past. “My body won’t take riding around on a tour bus for 40 cities,” he admitted. “If it works, we’ll look to the future to do more.”

Lineups have yet to be announced, but Lyman promised 70-100 acts at each stop. “We’re getting very, very selective in trying to find some unique twists to the lineup,” he teased.

He also pointed out that the new edition of Warped Tour will not focus on nostalgia. “I’ve always felt we need to pay homage to the past, but we’re looking to the future of the artists and the community,” he said.

Warped Tour will take place June 14 & 15 at the RFK Stadium Festival Grounds in Washington, D.C; the Shoreline Waterfront in Long Beach on June 26 & 27; and Camper World Stadium Campus in Orlando on November 15 & 16.
