If Gene Simmons had it his way, KISS' 1992 song "Spit" would be called "S**t." The bassist/vocalist recalled how he had to get talked out of the

"I originally wrote a song called 'S**t' -- 'Doesn't mean s**t to me' was the tagline," Simmons divulged in a new interview. "Bob Ezrin, who produced that record, said, 'You can't call a song 'S**t.' Wal-Mart won't put it out. So I said, 'How about 'Spit?' 'Doesn't mean spit to me?' Same vibe, different word."

The song ended up on KISS' 1992 album Revenge and will be part of the setlist on Simmons' upcoming solo tour. "The shows are almost never alike," he remarked about what fans can expect from the six-week run. "We toss around songs; if somebody in the band says, 'Hey, why don't you do [Cream's] 'Sunshine of Your Love?' we look at each other and go, 'What key?' and there you go."
