I would have loved to have seen this view on my street in Decatur this morning, but alas it did not happen. That's OK, it's weather. Things change from minute to minute and I'm glad we were proactive rather than be unprepared for a worse case scenario. So here's my request. Lay off the local meteorologists and folks bringing you the weather. They are trying their best to keep you safe with the science they have available to them. Unfortunately, once again, this is a situation that changes from minute to minute and if we had a foot of snow and no warnings to prepare, you'd be jumping on them for not giving you the proper heads up.
Just use that extra milk and bread you bought to make some french toast and be ready for the next time, because winter isn't over yet.
